Shopping around for a 4x4 to replace my Gen 1 paj... what are the advantages and disadvantages of a Landcruiser II (auction), gen 2 pajero exceed (auction) and safari (local)? I think the prices are almost the same...from 450-550. Mga ser, need your tips...
Auction is not a very good choice if you are not very mechanically adept. Even most mechanics cannot spot a good conversion from a bad one so mahirap magtiwala. You yourself have to know how to check.
Local Safari kung ako ang papipiliin. Disadvantage lang siguro niya is medyo madali maluma ang interior materials and parang truck kung i-drive (which is not really so bad).

mukhang panalo ang safari ah!!! actually personal choice ko rin yun kaya lang drawback nya, hindi matic at medyo masikip interior nya! Pero talagang luv ko safari! Tunog palang ng makina...ibang klase talaga! Magkano kaya 95-96?
My dad told me he spotted at an ad (forgot which one) a '97 Safari was being sold for 650K... To think we got our unit last year same model for 780K.
Pag dating sa interior, di naman gaanong masikip, it's that snug fit wherein you'd feel more secure when driving offroad and not bounce all over the seats. Who knows, you might end up sitting in the 2nd row after driving some moguls.
