Default Escape XLT V6 or Nissan X-Trail 250X?

hi! i would like to ask for your kind and knowledgeable comments...my dad is planning to get a CUV eh, pero shortlist nya is Ford Escape XLT V6 A/T or Nissan X-Trail 250X A/T.....actually nakita na nya both, at ito na last choices nya.

Di nya nagustuhan CRV, kakasawa na daw kasi eh....Outlander naman daw mahal for its size and features, RAV4 maliit naman...

He is particular sa design, so Escape sana ok sa kanya, with its V6 power pa and moonroof...pero sa ilaw, interior design at features, nagustuhan nya yung X-trail...

oo nga pla, price for the Xtrail 250X is Php 1,270,000; while the Escape XLT V6 is Php 1,345,000...mas mahal yung escape...

di pala particular sa resale value dad ko..ok lang kahit di mataas resale value basta guwapo looks and powerful....at matibay.

thanks for the input guys!

il go with the nissan xtrail.. for reliability alam ko reliable ang nissan.before my father had a nissan power pickup and for 7 years ang alam ko lang na pinalitan dun is yung gulong... porma? xtrail din mas modern look.medyo outdated na din ang looks ng escape.. plus the fact na ford sya medyo mahal pa ata ang parts. pero IMHO lang...

xtrail din ako....new design, very reliable engine the most advance 4x4 system in our local market and as you've mentioned, the interior and exterior is quite impressive compared to Escape..although looks are very subjective to everyones taste.

medyo kasi luma na yung exterior looks nang escape they make it to be in between a conservative and new design, tagal ko nang nakikita yan dito sa HK, mas marami ngang Tribute dito kesa Escape eh...

I have nothing against escape, I will choose it over CRV and outlander also...

X-TRAIL. hands down. more advanced AWD system. both interiors are hideous but lesser evil ang x-trail imo. QR25DE is a very powerful engine.

Ford Escape 3.0 XLT!

Pero kung nag-titipid ka sa gas, you're stuck with the X-Trail 250X. Hindi kasi ako nagagandahan sa styling ng X-Trail.

Test drive both and see which feels best.

Happy hunting.
