Land Cruiser or Pajero?
Both are mid-90's, advantage and disadvantage inputs are welcome.

Between the two... I'd choose all coils, solid diffs with locker, LWB, LC.

Land Cruiser for me. Or the next best thing - Patrol.
Pajeros have IFS (independent front suspension) which is more complex (more parts to break) and harder to lift than the Cruiser's solid front axle. Cruisers can be had with front, center and rear differential locks. The Pajero only has a center diff lock most of the time (a rear diff lock was offered in some markets).
Just take your pick. The Pajero is more road oriented. The Cruiser is more brutish about the way it goes about its business.

Mas maganda ata ride ng LC keysa Pajero. My officemate owns an LC which we would ride every now and then. Sarap sumakay.
Our office, on the other hand, owns a Pajero which is a little more bumpy than the LC.
No offense to Pajero owners.

Have yet to see a well maintained LC with a smokey exhaust, while quite a lot of Pajeros do smoke.
The early gas LC80's had weak brakes, the local diesel models had better brakes but still not as strong as the LC100.
The stock suspension of an LC is stronger than an IFS pajero.

are we comparing local units or US ones?
the local gen2 pajero is actually better-equipped than the local LC80 (better interior, full-time 4wd, A/T option on later models, to name a few differences)...
still, LC80 pa rin hehe
