*both are in good condition/same price

i plan to use the car for service only....

so do u think in 2 to 3 years time, the 93 esi would be easier to sell than the 95 lancer?

gaano ba talaga kadalas masira ang kotse?

sobrang doble ba ng prices ng spare parts ng honda?

sobrang kulit ko, sensya na!

ser yacarob, korek sabi nila... but for me to compare, ESi ako. aside sa performance and maintenance, mataas resale value nya compare to lancer.

(AFAIK)

kung gusto mo yung akin 94 model. hehehhe!

Both are good cars. Performance wise the ESi wins hands down. But it loses to the GLXi cheaper parts and probably lower mileage (95 kasi at 93 naman ang ESi). I'd go for the GLXi.

the esi has a problem, yung roof niya kinakalawang. check mo kung nagpa-rust-proofing siya.

I've asked zeibart and other body shop about it and they said sakit talaga ng ganoong model yan.

not because I have a GLXI eh ganito mga comments ko..

Power is relative. the glxi is 1.6 and I think (i might be mistaken) the esi has 1.5. Pero as I said, halos pareho and delivery nila with regard to power kasi kahit na medyo maliit by 100cc and esi eh mas magaan naman caha niya... which may be the reason bakit mas malakas ang esi...

this brings me to the point na mas makapal ang caha ng glxi... I am very particular with safety... and when I brought this up with my kumpare who owns a 93 esi, he said go for the glxi... 2 things he mentioned about esi he did not like...

1. mahal ang parts as compared with glxi
example: palit kami pareho ng t belt, tensioner at w pump.
glxi=1200+500+800=2500 all orig
esi=2300+700+1400=4400 all orig as per my kumpare

both prices are based on banawe as we both got them from banawe

2. mukhang mas matibay ang caha ng glxi as compared with esi

oo nga... two of my friends who have the honda 93-95 series nagsisimula nang mangalawang yung bubong nila, LX yung model naman. may butas na nga eh. i have another friend who also have a honda 93 ESI, ganun din.... starting to show signs of rust don sa roof. yung isa naman, naagapan kaya di mo pa makikita yung kalawang. ewan ko lang kung remedyo lang ginawa.

for me oks ang Lancer GLXi.

Yung buyer kasi nainspire dun sa Fast and the Furious.
