Nissan Sentra Diesel?

Now, what does a nissan sentra have to do with diesel?

anyway, I saw a Sentra box type(sorry, don't know the year) for sale. It looks pretty beat up, di alaga. The surprising thing about it is that it sounds like a diesel. It is a diesel. May sentra ba na diesel or binago na engine?

Yup! Naglabas ngdiesel engine ang Nissan for the Sentra. I think s box type models lang nila nilagay yun.

box type ('88-'91) sentras here have diesel engine variants. 1.7 liter lahat yun.

the sentra diesel was my first car. sa suspension lang nagka problema at meron konting rust sa underside. but overall, i'm very happy with it, gaan dalhin, tipid pa sa fuel.

yung sentra diesel ko dati, was able to bring it to baguio regularly na di gaano nahihirapan.

i was also able to reach a top speed of 150 kph sa north expressway one time. yun nga lang, hinihingal na sya pagdating ng 120.

up lang mga peeps... care to share more comments on experience with this car.... i'm eyeing one, 88 model around 40k in the ads..

how is the parts availability? consumption?? kamusta ang ride??? maingay ba engine sa loob ng cabin??

body, just like any othe box-type sentra....engine, baka mayroon stock nyan...pero alam ko 1.8L cd18 yan...(i could be wrong..)

I think the box-type(B12) Sentra had a 1.7 liter diesel engine(CD17).

If you want a newer diesel Sentra, just buy a AD Resort Max (2.0 Diesel) at 150k.

Then buy an LEC for 150k.

Swap engines... maybe 50k in labor.

Sell the AD Resort (now 1.6 gas) for 150k.

Bang! A diesel LEC for 200k. Simple.

As long as it works....

did'nt knew that AD resort was a diesel

however, with the very low price of box type nissan's nowadays seem attractive,may seem to be a good second car.... mas mahal pa yung 2nd hand scooter na balak ko
