AFAIK, yes, may lumabas dito... but in limited numbers.
the Corolla Altis "Love Life" 1.8 SE-G was sold way back 2000-2001- that was actually when the "Altis" name was first used. until the "Brad Pitt" Corolla Altis was launched with the 1.6 & 1.8 VVT-i engines.

It came out with the Corolla Altis 1.8L (Love-Life model).
The power from this engine (7A-FE) is not really that great. You would be better off with a 4AGE 20v silver top as an upgrade if you want an EFI engine upgrade.
180 kph kayang kaya!

I know a few TACP club members who have a 4AGE-20V silver top under their hood. The 4age-20v black-top is definitely more powerful but it costs a lot more to buy and install. It is also more rare so any engine specific part(s) that gets broken will be more difficult to replace as well. The silver top isn't as powerful as the black top but it is more powerful than the 4afe and the 4age-16v engines while giving decent fuel consumption figures.
The 4AGZE (supercharged) isn't a good choice because it is rather limited in potential output. From what I remember, it's performance is somewhere between the 4AGE-16v and 4AGE-20v engines.
