Bro i prefer to get the glxi if i were you. Bec i already own the two cars before. unang car ko yun vti di ako satisfied sa performance nya kaya nag shift ako sa glxi. palagi kc nag overheat yun vti tsaka mahal ng maintenance unlike yun glxi sarap i hataw tsaka di happy ako sa performance nya. para sakin ah.

itlog pa ata ang glxi.

Power = VTi
FC = imho, VTi.
Resale = VTi
Looks = imho, GLXi.
Price = cheaper ang GLXi.

para sa akin mas the best pa rin ang glxi...kasi halos 12 years na sa akin un maganda pa din ang takbo..at sa panahon ngayun na economic crisis kailangan ng hindi mahal ang pyesa at maintenance ng kotse mo....

Is this EK Civic VS Pizza Lancer? If so, no doubt EK Civic ako. Once an owner of a Pizza Lancer myself and all it brought me was suspension trouble. The car was only 4 years and ang ingay na ng suspension if you hit potholes or humps. Ironically last year I did replace our Pizza Lancer with the FD Civic, ironic huh?

Kaya nga. Pizza Lancers have lower resale values than Civic EK's for a reason. The suspension problems is not an isolated case its a trait of this model of Lancer. Basta ako AVOID! Hell for the price I would even get a Corolla AE101 (Big Body) model instead.

It's common amongst any car this age to have lots of quirks. Lancers tend to have more fragile suspensions and MAF and idle air control valve issues. Civic issues are limited to the radiator and occassionally, the VTEC solenoid.

I prefer the Civic. Better handling, better suspension, bullet-proof engine. Just don't get an automatic. Old Honda matics are crap.

That said, it doesn't matter which car you get, as long as it's in better condition than the other cars you look at. And that should be the deciding factor. Doesn't matter if what you get is a Toyota or a Honda, if it's in crap condition, it'll bring you nothing but trouble.
