Default rav4 1st gen or crv 1st gen?

mga tsikot peeps, im planning to buy a 2nd hand ride wich is an suv. and may target is any of the two, 1stgen rav4 and 1stgen crv. wich is a better suv between the two? about fuel mileage, performance, etc. pls post all your inputs, coz i'm lpannng to buy at the end of february. tnx!

and also the variant is manual,(not matic)!

among your choices, i prefer the RAV4. but take note that the interiors are really smaller than the CRV.

RAV4 also has better fuel mileage than the CRV.
looks wise, i prefer the CRV. since di ko gusto yung itsura ng 1G RAV (parang si lander ng voltes v).

I will go 1st gen CRV. The 1st gen RAV4 was small and it wasn't that pretty either.

Between gen1 Rav4 and CRV, for me,

maneuverability, acceleration, fuel economy, maintenance cost - Rav4
ride comfort, exterior and interior looks, interior space - CRV

reliability, resale value - both

Both are great SUVs, but if you could afford the slightly more costly maintenance and fuel consumption, I'd reco the CRV.

Good luck in your SUV pick and hunt later.

thnx guys, i decided to get a 1st gen crv 2001 model, came from a friend and will sell it to me first week march, its a well maintained manual, color white, selling me for a good price and have enough to have an spl setup! tnx agen guys! more power to tsikoteers!

crv the best! rav4 ok lang for 4x4 makukuha mo. pero kung 4x2 feeling lang yun dapat rav2 lang tawag dun
