If we're talking 2000 and up, the last of the Pregios had a sweet ride and a great driving position. And durability is about as good as any van out there.
The L300? I'd rather ride the jeep, thank you.

Kung yan 3 lang ang pagpipilian, WALA akong pipiliin sa mga yan, I heard too many horror stories about the H100/Grace and the Pregio. Yang L300 naman meron kami dati both gas and diesel at hari yan ng sablay. Panay overheat, hindi malamig ang A/C, grabe ang init coming from the engine if you're on the front seats.

Ang pangit naman ng choices its like picking cat crap, dog crap, or bird crap. I guess bird crap na lang and that is the L300. Those Korean vans are the days when Koreans where termed as low quality I wouldn't even touch those. I don't know, but everytime I see a Pregio or Grace its always wrecked or kinakalawang na and it seems like its just gasping to get into its destination...

A late-model Pregio will do you good. We had a 1998 one. Mechanicals were very good, except for a too-small radiator that can be upgraded to a bigger one anyway.
The latter-model Pregios should be better built than their earlier brethren. Only the flimsy interior bits and problematic A/C are negatives on the car. The engine and automatic gearbox however never broke down on us.

if I were to choose from those three I'd pick the L3...have previously owned a versa van gas and Fb diesel before...aside from aircon problems no major headache from my ride...the versa gas stayed with me for 6 years while the Fb diesel for 9 years.

+1.
My cousin uses a Pregio for van rentals. 4-5 years na, trips almost every day... the only things he's had to spend extra on were a few suspension bushings. That's it. Aircon is great, transmission is great, handling good (for a van) shocks are still all original.
He loves it to death. Much better than his previous L300, which he finally sold because of the rear fender rust that almost killed him (let exhaust into the cabin, causing him to nearly choke on the fumes). I remember that L300 dearly... wala pa yatang 5 years na bumigay yung first gear... the AC was horrible, and it handled like a coffin on wheels (almost like a Crosswind, actually).
Maybe the much earlier Pregios (the gray market ones brought in surplus from Korea) were crap, but the last ones sold locally were very, very VERY good.

We owned a hyundai grace singkit for 8 years, never gave us major problems, we bought it from a then newly opened importer/dealer, it was their demo unit, recoated w/ 2k paint, fully restored to brand new condition, it was a showcase of what their shop offered or could do.
Puro regular maintenance lang naging running cost namin, except for an injection pump overhaul. acquired w/ 150k+ on the odo, we clocked more than 40K++ on it.
Pros:
- Same engine as l300 (lakas hatak)
- Much better interior amenities than l300
- All power, even had a headlight leveling function! (plus that rpm or idling adjustment device)
- Not much of a smoke belcher like other diesels
- Cheaper parts than kia??
- Relatively smooth ride, nice handling
- passable looks (just get rid of those stickers, tailbars, ladders etc.)
- Surprisingly reliable mechanical wise (at least for us)
Cons:
- Weak aircon
- Body easily dents, gets dimples
- Plastic parts of very low quality (especially those door handles)
- Sometimes you'd look like a school bus/colorum shuttle
- Not all mechanical parts interchangeable w/ l300 (w/c can be a pain to source, according to other grace owners)
- gearshift had a very long throw (this was the thing i hated the most)
- power window breaks easily (we did'nt fix this in ours)
Although I have to admit that finding a good condition grace is like looking for a needle in a haystack, if you can find one, i suggest go for it, much better if you can find a "dolphin" version. Graces/H-100 are generally cheaper than pregios. as for the l300? it's styling inside and out is too ancient for me.
whatever you choose, be sure to thoroughly check the unit, take your time and be ready for extra expenses/repairs.
Hyundai Grace is a good option. I have one. Parts are so cheap and can easily be sourced. A good source of parts is Good Gear along Taft Ave. in Pasay (between Libertad and EDSA, northbound side).
Like rhuwrx mentioned, plastic parts are of cheap quality and not all parts are inter-changable with the L-300 but that for me is not a Con. However, my A/C is aftermarket so I don't have problems with it as our unit is a Korean surplus and we got it without an A/C.
Good thing is this van gives me decent FC. I used to work at Greenhills, study at Taft and go home to Makati and Php1,000 with today's fuel price, (dati around Php500-700 lang) even affords me to go out on weekends to Glorietta and The Fort every week and still have fuel to spare.
Also, the ride is way sweeter than the L-300, but I heard that the Kia Pregio is sweeter.
I recommend against getting the L-300. Why? Ancient engine and body design and rides worse than a jeepney. Oh, and very poor A/C design.
Overall, choose the one that gets your attention and research on the vehicle. If you really like it, regardless of what we say here, buy it. It will make you happy!

WOW TIDUS WHAT A COMMENT... GASPING TO GET INTO ITS DESTINATION!!!
i dont have anything bad to say about you pero brod isa lang ang advise ko try to test drive pregio baka kainin mo ang sinabi mo. hahaha
remember lahat ng sasakyan mabubulok at kasama ang sa iyo pero ito ay maiiwasan kung inaalagaan at minamahal.
one last thing its better to keep the mouth shut kung walang personal handling
