Nissan ECCS Engine Problem. Pls Help

I just bought a second hand ECCS.
ok naman nung test driving but when we left..about 30mins driving. Bigla tumirik. after a while pwede uli mag-start tapos titirik uli. Ilang beses tumirik. Ano po kaya diperensiya. Does it need engine overhaul?
pls help!

Not much of an information, anyway, your problem could have been anything like, clogged fuel filter, weak fuel pump, restricted fuel line or bad relay. Replace the the fuel filter first this could be the culprit and have somebody listen to your fuel pump if kicks in, (short humming to prime the system).

Thanks! I'm not that good in cars, but all possible solutions posted are very much appreciated. Ipinapalitan ko nga fuel filter.
Some nearby mechanics suggested na kailangan ng engine na ma-overhaul. Meron po ba kayong maisa-suggest na nissan ECCS expert around Paranaque area.

bro, bring it sa Nissan Casa for diagnosis. mura lang naman pa-diagnose. they will connect an engine analyzer para malaman kung ano talaga sira ng car mo. mahirap kasi ang trial and error na trouble shooting. good luck.

I agree with blacksun. Bring it na lang sa Casa. Or if hindi ka naman nagmamadali at gusto makatipid muna, try visiting the forums of [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. A lot of people can probably help you there....or at the very least suggest a shop that they trust in your area.

How did he conclude that engine need overhaul? Engine runs good except that it's stop like it cut off gas. Fired that man.

You have change the fuel filter. Is the car behave the same way?

You have change the fuel filter. Is the car behave the same way?

Yup, the mechanic has changed the fuel filter. inoverhaul radiator.
Umandar na uli. Pero namamatay matay engine. Ang latest findings e sa electronic box daw. Baka daw wiring. BUkas ay dadalhin sa especialist para check electronic box.

Maganda na takbo ng ECCS ko. Pero after a while ay namamatay makina.
Na-diagnosed na ng nissan especialist at ang findings daw e electronic box. Mga 8T daw ang repair at kung papalitan daw ng bago ay 40T.
Pls suggest...yun na nga ba talaga sira nun? parang hindi pa rin sila sigurado..iwan lang daw muna yung car sa casa.

It could be. Had a similar problem with my Sentra before...

What's happening is that something electronic is overheating, stops working, shuts down... then when it's cold, it's okay again. It could be a capacitor bank inside the ECU or it could even be ignition coils (check those, too).

Surplus boxes should be within the 8k to 12k range.

thanks Niky. Madali lang bang palitan mga electronic components nun? Halimbawa yung capacitor bank may nabibili ba sa mga ordinary electronics shop nun o kailangan sa Nissan suppliers talaga bibili.

Kaya ko kasi binili eccs e dahil may ganun yung friend ko at according to him, napakatipid daw sa fuel. Hopefully, efficient pa engine nung nabili ko.

A capacitor alone shouldn't cost much... but I don't know how many electric experts are familiar with Nissan boxes. Reportedly, there are guys who can fix Honda boxes, but I'm not sure. Best bet, really, is to replace the box entirely.

But also check your wiring... there could be a short there somewhere that is causing the electronics to overheat.

Ayos na car ko. Inayos lang wiring ng computer box. Pinalitan din yung coolant temperature sensor at mga filters.
Ayos na ayos ang takbo. hoping na tumagal pa ito.

i have same problem namamatayan din ako, baka wiring din ng computer box ko saka ayon sa mekaniko need to replace my temp coolant sensor kasi kapag nakakabit bumababa idling saan ka nagpagawa ng wiring at replace ng sensor at magkano nagastos mo....

sir, i think we have the same problem, same po ung car natin, 2mirik din me ng mga twice na ata.. how much po ba yung cost ng wiring ng computerbox mo? tingin ko pareho tlg ng problem ng car ko eh... tnx..
