if i was to choose... ill go for the 97 city or the 97 rolla.

IMO stay away from the galant 94 or 95... too thirsty on gas. we have this model and only used during coding days. to give you an idea, its a 94 matic SS, cost me 300 petot a day paranaque to makati and back.

the esi is also good, one of the better looking civics IMO. parts... no prob.
