among your choices, its the 2000 GLS. I think it costs around 230-250k. why? its the newest.

my second choice would be the Exalta.
my last choice will be the rolla. why? its the smallest of the bunch.

For 150k you can get a well conditioned, accessorised, and somewhat souped up 1995 Lancer. Pang-gas at maintenance na lang yung sukli.

I think mataas pa yung bentahan ng mga Lancer 2000.

Sir, just my 2 cents.
STA is AT only. Unless you really like an AT car, it is basically the B14 massaged with extra features which by this time might not all be working 100%.

If you have an Avanza, get the Civic then. The lovelife is more like every Toyota, like your Avanza, simple to operate, dependable. The Civic is all that plus more driving fun.

by the way na view ko na yun corolla lovelife and here are my observations

68k+ Mileage
15" rota mags
wrap around body kits
sound set-up

4.may mga minor scratches/dents around the body

madumi at magulo ang car...hehe...the engine needs to be clean also...ksama ko si erpat when i check the car and parang may napansin siya na may leak though hindi siya sure we did not bring with us a mechanic eh...ano kaya maging problem nun if ever...and what to expect...

i think onteng ayos lang ok nman yun car...kelangan na din nman ng hilamos but if hindi pa kaya budget ok pa dn naman...

asking price is 220k we are still negotiating...with the given condition of the car what do you think guys?...magkano kaya abutin ng pagawa nun....

hope to get some suggestions and comments guys....thanks....

sir IMO, medyo aayaw ako sa corolla because of the major needs to be done. kung baga, it shows how the owner uses the car. parang drive lang then kung may sira, hayaan na lang, basta tumatakbo.

why not search around some more to see if may makuha ka better deals?

personally, sa mga sinabing obvious na kailangan gawin, 35k or more if theres a lot of damages, sa paint pa lang with the repairs. sa engine naman, kung may oil leak siguro mga 10k gastos, wala pa yung pangilalim kung meron na defects. baka may iba nang naapektohan sa engine kung hindi pinapagawa yung leak.

civic pa din ako... hehehe (shempre love your own)

CIvic na dude!

thanks mga sirs...

@archie123456789

well, most of you suggest the civic will try to view the other choices and look for additional ones na pasok sa budget...

by the way how about mga parts ng civic hindi ba siya mahal like what others are saying?...

i think that my budget is for 97-98 models....usually ba ano na ang mga kelangan palitan for a 10years old civic?...if ever a/t ok pa kaya yun? kung lxi ang makita ko ok lng din ba?...

thanks guys

sa mga old civics like mine (hehehe), timing belt, all fan belts, and water pump ang nakikita ko kailangan palitan... then sa pangilalim, check the stab link, trailing arm bushing. magali masira eh. yung a/t i have no idea lang kasi m/t ako eh.

sir my cousin owns the 96 lxi, ok naman up to now. good and timely maintenance is the best.
