HELP PLEASE: Rav 4 05 Vs Xtrail 05

guys,
tomorrow i will be buying a car na... and im still so confused as to which i would be taking..

my options are
1) x-trail 2005 2.0 - a/t - 25k kms - black - P675k
or
2) rav 4 2005 1.8 - m/t - 39k kms - pearl white - 680k
with tv/dvd/tuner and skirts

I really need your inputs.. at the end of the day my concerns would be
a) cost of maintaining
b) convenience
c) resale value - as i may change after 4 years
d) overall look

If you want something that has a good fuel consumption go for the Rav4 4x2 although it is pricey at 680K even with those "upgrades".

If fuel consumption isn't a concern - then the X-Trail is a better buy (is this the 200 or 200X model)?

i would prefer the RAV because of its fuel efficiency and resale price.
M2's right. an office mate owns an Xtrail. He uses his scooter (a Vespa) to go to the office. He said, the Xtrail bleeds his pockets.

but both of them surely looks good.

The Xtrail has better features and power but if resale is a main concern then go with the Rav4 1.8. It's kinda pricey though at 680K... should be already near the flat 600 range.
