city vs. civic

I know this is like comparing apples to oranges. I am getting my first car and torn whether I would get the 1.5 city or 1.8 civic. I like the sporty edge of civic, but i'm worried about fuel consumption.

kuya budweiser07, i suggest you buy the city if you're worried about the fuel comsumption. it can reach 15km/li though it still depends on driving style. Furhtermore, the civic 1.8 can give you around 8-10km/li. If you can still stretch your budget for a new car and most importantly, its fuel consumption, might as well go for the civic. more spacious and faster than the city vtec.

Want a quick, sporty car that's economical? Just get a Jazz 1.5 (if you can still find one...) or, better yet, wait for the new 1.5 coming out next year... it's supposed to have 120 hp, and should be quite fun.
