Default Chevy Aveo Sedan vs. Kia Rio vs. Hyundai Getz CRDi

Good day to all tsikoteers!

Post your point per point objective/subjective comparison, intuition, insights, opinions, judgment, outlook, etc...

I think this would also be helpful to those out there shopping for a reliable subcompact aside from their expensive Japanese counterparts.

Ang taas ng respeto ko sa mga koreano (this is daewoo rebadge chevy) pero dissappointed ako dito, it failed my expectations, i have more fun driving my pristine conditioned charade.

There's a comparo between the Getz CRDi, Aveo Hatch (1.1L version tho) and Toyota Yaris in Top Gear Philippines November issue. The Aveo Hatch didn't rate well, and, no surprise, the Yaris came out on top.

I think the Aveo sedan is worth a look.

i own a chevy aveo 1.5 Liter AUTOMATIC

1.5L sohc ang makina, with ABS and airbags, cd changer/mp3, all powered, except windows( weird, pero okay lang) and 15" alloy wheels

Try Rio or Getz first before buying this car. Maybe it's just me pero there are many small things that annoys me, summing up hating the aveo overall. Pinamimigay ko na nga eh, ituloy na lang nila yung monthly amortization pero walang gustong sumalo after trying it (kuwait).

One unhappy Aveo owner...

Anyhow, I'm seeing more of this car (Aveo sedan) on the streets everyday. I guess its good looks and the GM badge helped a lot in attracting consumers.

By the way, CBU from Korea ba ito?

yes it's CBU. was in phils last Aug 07 and brought the side mirror with me, hoping i could find a proper one.

I guess it's not about "nagtitipid" but more of a styling/design issue.

I checked the local GM website and they gave an emphasis on the side view mirrors which as they said "larger than before" check it out...

P600K o ~P2M?

When it comes sa safety features, driver pa rin naman ang pinaka importante.

Thanks for the info... that's a relief, i could finally order a proper mirror for my new car! i could live with an unstable ride at high speed.
