Tough call... Used to be, I'd have said BMW in a heartbeat... but with Audi finally learning how to build good-handling cars and BMW losing some of the verve from the previous M3... I can't cast my vote until I've done about ten laps of the BRC in each car.

430Nm Torque
Audi's Torsen Quattro Rear Bias
6-Speed DSG transmission...
Same braking system as the Lamborghini Gallardo (14.3" discs | 8 Piston calipers).
Unfortunately, RS4 has been phased out accdg to the site i've read days ago (not sure if it's true, Apparently, you can't order a new RS4 anymore). It's rumored that a sports version of A6 will replace it if not the RS5/RS6.
But [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] is what I'd get instead

i've only driven the RS4 and the previous gen M3. the RS4 is a monster, while the M3 is more surgical (the famous BMW handling and smooth power delivery).
reserving judgement until we see the new V8 E90 M3.
My vote goes to the M3 because of it's infamous handling and screamer engines but we'll have to wait and see about their new V8 engine because rumors has it that it is the same engine block as the M5's but with less two pistons.
A friend used to have a previous gen RS4 and after a year he traded it in for a track edition 350Z anyway he said he just didn't like the extra 2 doors

i vote for the rs4, just for their relative rarity
