the 2.5 d4d engine is very fuel-efficient. malakas hatak. nothing out of the ordinary sa suspension. over all its a very good investment.

i had a chance to drive the hilux last year (TMPC lent it to us). Tag tag!! but i like the engine response, ang lakas! but i suggest, if you are going to get the 3.0 d4d, get the one with an automatic transmission heheh.

Toyota Hilux hmm value for money? yes, my dad had choosen this pickup as well as mataas at maganda parang fortuner. Mitsubishi Strada well is not our choose beacuse HILUX is most powerful 160hp@ 34000rpm and his torque is 253lb-ft@1400-3200rpm. STRADA's power is 135hp and his torque is 232lb, but hilux is more high price tag @ 1,405,000a/t and 1.349,000 m/t. it all work it with price of hilux.

Thanks for the infos bros.

265/75R16 = 31.64 inches

or

265/70R16 = 30.60 inches

Some pics with bigger specs: 285/75R16

have a 2.5TD 4x4, very fuel efficient, malakas humatak but a bit poor going up hill. pretty good handling but less comforatble driving than the dmax in long journey. mine is 1 year this may, 42k mileage. nice truck!
defects so far, oil leaks in the turbo, lubrication line, some units are not welded but expanded instead. already experienced in our three units.

Hi All!

I test drove the HiLux and I loved it.

Quiet, powerful, comfortable.

Unfortunately for me, a bit expensive.

Wound up getting a 98 model with mods on it.

Would consider getting one if I had or was given the apprpriate funds

if you decide on getting a hilux j mas maganda yan i lowered mo then salpak 20's =)

anyway, meron ako 06 hilux 4x4 and so far ok naman..in terms of power i can vouch na eto isa sa pinakamalakas na diesel pickups available in the market today. tahimik makina, malaki leg space etc. the only complain i had is ung rims na 15's *simple solution* and ung *tagtag* (after a month nawala na tagtag i guess nasanay na) hehe. strada sana kukunin ko maporma kasi exept the ass na parang bitin at imo nde sya as one with the whole body. and yung strada mas ok interior nya but i do need extra power for hauling bikes so i ended up getting the hilux instead.

previous pic of my truck.
16's volk racing te-37 offroad with mickey thompson baja atz. but now in 18's volk racing te 37.

good luck with the purchase

Sir sidewayz, I'd still choose your bike over your pick-up

Cool Re: Hilux 2007

Thanks mga kuya. Im still going to lift it kahit J lng then lalagyan ng malaking tires para macho ang dating.
