Infiniti FX35 TT

it was my first time at a dragstrip. i met with a few fx'ers at california speedway to see this one in person - a 450whp twin turbo built motor fx35. best run so far is 12.74 @ 107.17mph! "f***ing sick ride" and nice owner too.

fun to see spectators reactions, including myself, when they see a 4000+lb suv run that fast. too bad the strong winds and sub 40 deg temp made video taping very hard (i did it, poorly). here's one of his previous run:

got beat the first time 12.97@109mph vs 12.79@109mph, but got him back the next run at 12.79@110mph vs 12.81@109mph!

yep i read that story on turbo mag the other day while i was at Borders and man that's one sick FX35TT

i was unsure about the widebody particularly on the back section based on the pics. but in person, the whole thing looks perfect and blends well with the stock curves of the fx.

he ran 12.7 before the widebody, so im curious if he can do better this time with this and around 40 more hp.

I don't know why I still don't like this car. Maybe because of the stance, I can bear it much better if it was on stock form.

its a "love it or hate it" styling even when stock. his mods made it more like "love it or hate it a lot" thing. i still recall me liking the murano while wife hates it .
