Sentra GX 1.3 m/t vs. Vios 1.3 m/t

can any1 help me out.. which consumes more gas, vios or nissan sentra 1.3? thanks

hi.. pleaz help.. which burn more gas.. nissan sentra gx 1.3 M/T or vios 1.3 M/T. Any suggestion which car I should buy.. tnx

The GX is less economical. But then again, you don't buy a car based on the fuel economy figure alone.

The Sentra may have a 1.3 engine but it is wearing a body one size-class higher than the Vios' so the comparison is really not apples to apples. The Sentra was never designed to compete in the class occupied by the mini cars like the Vios and Jazz. The Sentra is in the same size class as the Civic and Corolla (though both have stopped offering low displacement engines already).

Pick one that suits your needs. Between the two, it's a no brainer for me. I'd get an all power Sentra 1.3. Bigger cabin, bigger trunk, bigger body.

Ano nga ba yung gauge na wala sa Vios? Temp gauge ba? Sensya na pet peeve ko iyon, yun ang pinaka ayaw kong feature sa Picanto (walang temp gauge).

Buti pa yung mga old school cars, may volts, oil pressure, etc.

Test drive mo muna ung 1.3L sentra... am using a loaner 1999 Sentra FE (w/ a 1.3L EFI engine)... sobrang underpowered.

Vios naman ako para maiba...

i have driven both cars and mas gusto ko ang sriff feel ng toyota...

o and resale value is a plus

Yup, walang temp gauge ang Vios. Bale, temp symbol light lang. Pag malamig pa makina, iilaw ng blue, pag normal temp, no light, tapos pag malapit na mag-overheat, pula.

What I dislike most about the Vios, though, is the center panel. Weird talaga ang dating sa akin.

Although not as aesthetically pleasing on the outside, I prefer the Sentra (lalo na pag black with chrome trim, lakas ng arrive!)

Agree. Test drive mo muna pareho. Underpower is relative so ikaw na ang best judge nun.

But all those cars you mentioned are still faster than my Pajero.

Btw, our full size Benz (W108 body) has only around 70hp (200D engine).

the Sentra GX, i think is bare. pati rims ata nya, steel rims lang. not sure ha?
for one, interiors/trunk is bigger than the Vios.

but fuel economy-wise, i would go for the vios. looks better too.

May GX all power na po. I forgot kung magkano ang price difference (naiwan ko ata sa Caloocan yung price list).
