only 68 cars of this model that were made in the left hand drive configuration. Most were used by American serviceman stationed in Okinowa during the sixties.

I believe a few LHD Sports 800's were imported here in the RP during the 60's...

Its powered by a 45PS 790cc air-cooled flat-twin, its not that bad since the car only weighs 580 kg (1279 lb).
Top Speed is 155 km/h, 0-100 km/h in 13.3 sec.

"S800" is the name of Honda's compact sportscar, the Toyota is called "Sports 800"

I saw one of those in Laguna before, being restored... but the owner apparently didn't have the time or money to finish the job... could this be the same one?
