Try considering the Audi A4 TDI 2.0 diesel. This is the better A4 in the market right now compared to the 2.0 gas version which is underpowered. I was hoping also that BMW would come to their senses and release the 320D diesel, which is also far better than the gas counterpart. BMW already released a 520D. The only thing I don't like about the Audi is its already dated looks. The interior is from the previous 2001 model.
@monseratto: sir how much is an A4 TDI at this time?
2,698,000 PhP sa PGA Cars. I find it strange na yung specs ng 520D is the same specs that appeared sa brochure ng 320D. Wala atang 520D sa ibang markets.

the Audi has good specs too. actually, it has more power than 2.0L BMW with valvetronic. the direct injection Turbo engine produces alot of grunt plus it also has a CVT transmission too. it has power seats unavailable even in the top line 320i. the only let down with this model is that, its just a rebodied model from the 2001-2004 model which is meant to compete with the E46 Series. Also, for the price, i dont think its too much to expect a RWD or an AWD layout atleast. also, some luxo features are missing.
on the otherhand, BMW 320i Sport offers rear drive, alot of electronic goodies such as ABS, CBC (Corner Brake Control), DBC (Dynamic Brake Control), DSC (Dynamic Stability Control), DTC (Dynamic Traction Control), even a engine start/stop button. plus having a comparable amount of luxury goodies Automatic headlamps; rain-sensing wipers even a Stereo/6-disc/aux with 6 speakers for your i-pods. it has a thicker 225/45R17 tires vs. 215/45R17 for the A4 1.8T.
Locally, BMW has better & plentier dealer support.
