kumusta naman kaya ang offroadability ng terrano? kaya ba nitong sumabay sa mga pajeros and patrols?

yes the brake system is bad. but in terms of off road capability it can compete with the pajeros and troopers. even when the engine lacks power in the highways it is geared strong enough for off road.

Ok ang off-road capability ng Terrano. Dami ding mods na available unlike sa Pajero na wala halos aftermarket. Yung mga off-road mods ng Pathfinder at Frontier swak na swak. Diff locks, body armor, etc.

May imported na Terrano, yung galing auction na converted to LHD. Malakas ang mga makina ng mga ito but the conversion quality leaves a lot to be desired. Also, karamihan ng ex-Japanese na Terrano ay square pa ang dashboard (galing Pathfinder) hindi katulad ng sa atin na Pathfinder Eagle Series na ang loob (plus upgrades).

Local Terranos came with a TD27 engine good for 72bhp (same as a non-turbo 4D56 Pajero) or a Z-series (carb) 2.4L engine good for 100bhp (same as a turbo-intercooled 4D56 Pajero).

Medyo masikip din ang rear seats ng Terrano since pick-up based siya. Pero handling is good. Way better than a Trooper or Pajero. Very athletic.

Very capable ang terrano when it comes to offroading. Have driven my stock terrano offroad several times and there is nothing it can't handle with its low range gears. Just sharing you my experience with my 2.7 terrano.

The terrano is an SUV without a doubt. Its roots can be traced to the early 90's Nissan D series pickups. OK yung low range niya, tried and tested namin sa Bukid namin

True, mahina ang brakes, but if you have around 4000 bucks lying around, you can easily get a surplus Patrol Hydrovac and Brake Master and have a decent mechanic install it for instant braking power!!!

The Gas version is rather thirsty. My dad manages around 5km/L (Bad). But then again, my dad drives like Mika Hakkinen. (I drive more like Mika Salo hehehehe)

definitely its an SUV.
ok naman siya just make sure you get the DIESEL version.
mataas ang consumption ng gas version.

Yes the terrano is an SUV. it is a very capable car and reliable on and off the road.

The terrano was made made here in the Philippines by UMC. But some people imported the U.S version, which I think is called the Nissan Pathfinder? and we also have converted units which were imported from Japan,

And my only gripe about the local Terrano is the engine; which is underpowerd it has both Gas and diesel. But i would choose the diesel version and have it turbo charge or engine swap from the units from japan.

makikisingit lang po...

From my experince naman sa u.s. pathfinder ko, the brakes are just enough, power of the V6 3.0 is just right, mine is the 3 door, maluwag ang upuan sa likod, parang sofa! May armrest pa sa tagiliran.

Suspension naman is ok, sarap, hindi matagtag.

The pathfiner aka terrano was originally designed in the U.S., the japanese only added the rear doors.
