Default Ssangyong Musso pickup or Strada?

Bibili sana pinsan ko ng pick-up. Ito ang choices niya. Which is better?

Thanks. 8)

Kung malaki ang price split, ok na yung Musso. Kaso sa gray market importer ka na lang kumuha dahil nakakasuka yung hitsura nung nasa mga authorized dealers. Mas maganda yung plain niyan. Yung mga unang labas before the Sport Trac even became fashoinable.

The Musso is basically an SUV na inalis ang likod to escape taxes. Being based on an SUV, it will ride better than the Strada. Mas madami ding features ang Musso like wood trim (although mukhang fake), leather (on some models), knob-type 4WD (more convenient if you're not the hardcore type.

The biggest advantage of the Musso would be its Mercedes Benz engines. We have one in our MB100 and talagang matibay siya. Wala pa ring usok hanggang ngayon kahit walang calibration (something most 7 year old 4D56 engines can't say).

The Strada is a truck in the truest sense so expect it to ride harder. But it will carry more that what a Musso can. It will also outperform a Musso off-road. Tried and tested na ang Strada ng mga owners dito.

Ask you cousin na lang kung ano ang hanap niya.

Last year nakita ko ang musso pickup sa SM North, looks sturdy at a distance, but once you go in, think again.

Alangan na pickup, dahil maiksi ang bed, masikip din sa passenger seat, and the plastics are not that good either.

Mag strada ka na lang. Refined na ang mga labas nila ngayon, kaysa sa mga nauna.

Honestly I don't like the looks of the Musso pick-up. I would still choose the Strada kahit mas mura ito.

aesthetics aside, i'd still choose the Strada. this will definitely be easier to maintain in the long run.

I still can't believe it that Musso is still considered by people? From what I heard aalisin na ito sa line-up nila and bring in a sturdy pick-up that will be 4X4.

Go for the Strada! Mas madali ang after market parts nito.
