Nissan/Infiniti Comeback!

Nissan and Infiniti have come up with 2 new cars that stole the show. There's the 350Z and G35 Coupe and Sedan. They are powered with a 3.5-liter V6 producing over 250 hp in the G35 and around 280 for the 350Z. Transmissions are a 6-speed manual and a 5-speed automatic.

G35 performance beats the benchmark BMW 330i. The 350Z is also bloody quick. Hope Nissan and Infiniti regain their fame with these living legends!

The 350Z is revived from the Datsun Z car, which was a hit in the 1970s, especially in the U.S.

The RX8 is also a nice alternative. Hope Toyota comes up with a new, cheaper Supra and Mitsubishi with a GTO/3000GT successor.

Rx-8 suspiciously looks identical to a Honda S2000 (S2000 was first)... sa bagay, patas lang... the Euro Accord looks identical to a Mazda 6

i'd take a 350Z 6-spd over anything else in its class... but i'd easily take an Acura 3.2CL Type S 6-spd or a BMW 330i 6-spd over an Infiniti G35 wishful thinking hehe...

The Integra/RSX Type R could have been the best sports car if not for its Chevy Cavalier looks. The 350Z looks and performs great. It should be included in The Fast and the Furious 2! :twisted:

the 350Z has some porsche touches... just look at the roofline!

but i'd prefer the rx-8 (biased... hehehehe)... it can even actually seat 4 adults with its suicide doors.

although we still have to hear from mazda the final engine specs of the rx-8... the early prototype engine pumps out 280 hp... they are just improving on the torque...

nissan's murano is awesome! wish that they'd bring it here! even if they'll just stuff it with the cefiro's 2.0 engine, it still be acceptable...
