Rode one today and driven it for 220kms. I would assume it is not a 2-stage that you are referring to. Suspension is setup on the firm side. Concrete and asphalt patches could easily be felt inside the cabin. Imo, loading the bed with heavy stuffs would ensure bottoming out suspension will not be expected as long as the load weight is within its range.
On a sidenote, engine performance on the 2.5L D4-D was unbelievable! Easily overtakes on long stretches of road. Economy wise, fuel gauge just moved a notch from full mark for the whole stretch of my travel. I will refill tomorrow to check how many liters were consumed.
my brother got one the same time we got the fortuner... same engine ... same power! just love it... a little bumpy... but what can you expect from a truck chassis and leafs... :P
