Hi! We are planning to buy a second hand car for school service. We are choosing between, L300 Fb ,Kia Besta, Hyundai Grace . I just want to get your comments and possible reviews and which would you recommend...
Thanks for your help and Have a good day!
For a school service, the L300 FB can be the newest possible to be purchased at a low price IMO (i.e. a 2000 model and up for 250K more or less). Parts and repairs are also very straightforward and this can fit the most i think. With the Besta/H100, most you'll be finding are the Korean Surplus ones or local ones older then the model year 1998 which may need more repairs/upgrades.
Hi! Thanks for replying so soon. The reason I posted a message here bcuz I hardly know anything about cars (school service). Sa dami ng opinion na nakuha ko decided na ko na L300 FB ang hanapin ko. One more question pa pwede? Is it worth it ba to buy yung year 1998- 1999 price( 175 -250K )o yung 2002-2004 price (275-325K) Which would you recommend.
Anyone who know anybody who is selling L300 Fb, Pllease inform me...
FB ka na kung school service, tried and tested na yan kahit pa may 3 yrs. warranty ang kia panoramic, got 1 kasi sa water station biz namin, di ksi kaya ng fb ang load so nag kia kami...pero unlike sa previous fb namin, malakas ang kia sa diesel and andami na lumabas na prob. like condenser (2 times pinalitan) and alignment..1 year lang ata ang warranty sa FB E...ksi nga raw subok na sabi ng mitsubishi...
Cousin has a KC2700, and not many issues, but it's a bit too overwhelming for a school run, and has a big engine to boot. THe L300 FB would be more practical, easier in traffic, and not that uncomfortable for short-medium haul trips.

The newer the better if the price difference is not much... Try to check the emissions though as eto yung sakit ng 4d56 pag di-maintained (although it can be cured naman).
Check out the Manila Bulletin Classifieds on weekends.
How many kids are you hauling? I'd stick with a Hyundai Grace/H100. The kids will be a lot more comfortable and relatively safer compared to riding in a steel box behind a truck.

I agree with this.
The L300 FB ride just sucks. The seats are just too narrow & hard. Though kids would have a grand time playing in the aisle.
The Isuzu IPV & Kia K2700 (?) offers a much better ride & passenger comfort.
yan nga ung pinagmamalaki ng IPV, i.e. more legroom at the back. parang mahaba lang nga physically ung IPV(people carrier configuration) compared to other LCVS in its class
