Hmmm...the difference is not that big with the 3.0 D4D. I did a 7.4 km/l and that was highway and city combination.

o, baka masyadong mataas lang ang expectation ko?

siguro mag i-improve pa yan

Mukhang the Fortuner body is so heavy for the 2.5 D4-D that the fuel consumption is that bad. It might be better to get the 3.0 D4-D. Mas tatagal pa yun engine mo in the future.

Fortuner13,
Kamustahin ko lang performance ng 2.5D engine ng Fortuner when you went up to Baguio OK lang ba? So I can shift my reservation to a 2.5D instead of the 3.0V!!!!!!

Is the Fortuner 2.5 faster than a Gen 2 Pajero 2.5?

Sir, tama ka mababa iyan for a 2.5 diesel with only the driver onboard. Dapat niyan nasa 15km/l highway and no traffic. Some tsikoters with 3.1 diesel engine manage to get 10 km/l with 4 persons onboard in a moderate traffic. I have a lot of respect for Toyota diesel engines but they are not known for fuel efficiency.

Kahit sa mga gasoline engines nila, they don't stand out as misers.

Is it fair if i say when you say City driving speed is 40kph-60kph and Highway speed is 80kph-100kph?kasi there is a lot of city like Makti you cant go more than 60kph stop and go talaga and some city you can go morethan 60kph.
