Best Sedan for long drives or out of town trips

Guys.. am helping out a friend on this.. which sedan would be the best when it comes to long drives or out of town trips.. knowing that sometimes you'll probably encounter rough road along the way.. thanks in advance!!

I would recommend Hyundai Matrix, a mini-MPV. It has a fuel efficient (19+ km/l on highways, 13+ km/l on city) and powerful 1.5 diesel engine, perfect if your friend decides to go to mountainous regions. Not to mention that it has near AUV/CUV headroom/legroom with a comfortable ride due to its fully-independent suspension. If your friend decides to pack a lot of goods/gears, the second row seats are foldable. All-power side mirrors etc and a durable chassis (this baby weighs 1,370 kilos - like a Rav4!). It's price as of now is 678k available in manual only, a better buy than the Altis, in my opinion, if you stick to the 1.6 models.

But if your friend really wants a sedan, the Toyota Altis would give the best combination of speed, fuel efficiency, space and reliability. The parts are literally, cheaply, everywhere - an important aspect as it will surely take a beating when taken cross-country.

If he/she decides to go for an Automatic transmission sedan, Honda Civic.

nothing beats a midsized sedan for long trips. accord, cefiro or camry would be perfect.

+1 vote for the camry. rented one for a 5+ hour trip and it's very comfortable with plenty of power for any highway conditions

but its at 1.4M i think for the lowest variant almost double the budget of the thread starter.

800k? Lynx Ghia, if you can find it. Sentras are also very comfortable long-distance cruisers... if too soft in the suspension.

u cant go wrong with honda accord 3.0 v6 with 240 horses u cant hardly feel your hitting 200kph already on the highway

volvo 850 (around 350k) or s70 (around 600-700k) yan swak sa budget may sukli pa!

01 cefiro w/ sunroof (around 600K).. or kahit 99 (around 400k) may sukli pa rin!
