01 Honda Civic or 1st Gen Honda Crv (98/99?)

so why compare apple to an apple...
here's the deal... more of a people carrier with luggages (2-3 adult + 2 kids, 1 stroller 2 carseats)
which is more apt?
in terms of.

-space
-fuel consumption
-resale value
-sturdiness
etc

i have already some answer in my head but i wanna see other tsikoteers' opinion...thanks

without a doubt..CRV, wins hands down on comfort and space. same reliability.

Given both are in good condition, CR-V. Panalo sa resale value and space (esp. if you have kids and like going out of town). You can still find 98-99 units in good condition but the price may be higher then a typical '01 Civic

Sa fuel efficiency (esp. in the city), the Civic has the advantage though.

i was under the impression na the CRV and new dimension civic has the same seating capacity...

Seating cap is the same (5 pax) but given the taller room for the CRV, mas lamang ito (the CRV has more comfort space then a Pajero AFAIK)

Current Civic - still a good car, but Altis is better hands down. No longer as charming as its forebears, rather bouncy ride, almost minivan-like driving position and lousy A/T, but good space, economy (M/T) and the badge are the reasons for its survival.

1st-Gen CR-V - very comfortable ride for a tall vehicle. I personally love the interior, both in look and space. Engine willing but economy is so-so. Get the M/T!

Kim between the two, I'd go for the CR-V. Around Php500k siya ngayon right? You get more metal for the money.

Yung mga GEN I CR-V ng mga kasama ko dito, mga ok pa din naman kahit hindi naman sila maalaga sa sasakyan.
