Default Lynx GSi A/T or Vios 1.5G A/T

Buying a new car,

Vios 1.5G A/T - P688,000 less P10,000 discount
Lynx GSi A/T - P685,000 less P55,000 discount

Vios has the safety features (ABS, Airbags), fuel economy
Lynx has the space

Which would you get?

If you need space... get the Lynx.

If most of the time, you just drive alone... get the Vios (am a bit partial to the Vios due to its safety features).

Though for my needs right now... I'll pick the Lynx.

If its a family car and will be your primary vehicle then I would chose the Lynx. If it would be a daily drive to-from office, then get the Vios.

It will be my car for color coding days and for use of my sons.

Had a Mazda 323, it was awful!

Talaga! Malas lang siguro yung unit ko. It was a gas guzzler, 7 kms/l. Had to replace tie rod ends several times. I finally gave up when the ignition coil in distrubutor quit.

I only mentioned the 323 because lynx is built on same platform, am I right?

then you'll "love" the lynx --- it's a mazda 323 BJ body (the "awful" 323 you refer to is either the "BG" box type, or the "BH" 1995-98 type).

if it makes you feel better, nagkakalat na sa daan ang "BK" platform na mazda 323:

I guess mine is the BH 323. It was the Familia. Back then it was bang for the buck. It had a lot of features and was selling very cheap. The problem was the casa (Columbian Motors I believe) stopped servicing it.

So you're saying the Lynx is ok then.

Have it serviced by Kia Pasay (oops... medyo OT na). Our 323 is doing around 9 km/L the last time I checked it.

Yup... mas improved ang Lynx against the 323.

i think the ford lynx is also mazda 323 in japan or same ang category nila..
ganito ata history nila
1) mazda 323
2) ford lynx
3) mazda 3 and ford focus shares the same platform

personally, i'll get the vios.. biased kasi dahil nasanay na ako sa toyota vehicles hehe

Will go with the Vios. I have an Altis 1.8G and I'm happy with it. Originally wanted the new Jazz VTEC with CVT but its too expensive. The money I'll save will just go to bumper chins, side skirts, Kelseat leather seats and 15 inch mags for the Vios.

Thanks again for all your inputs.

it depends po sa inyo sir, if hindi naman palagi passenger-full ang daily trips nyo then pick the vios (mas pogi pa ang looks compare sa lynx except with the lynx rs variant!) but if you need more space then lynx otherwise.
