The '05 CR-V has a 2.4L i-VTEC engine, while the latest RAV4 is essentially the same as any gen2 RAV4s, but more refined.

If you're looking for a comfortable ride, better interior space, NVH(and improved engine) CRV 4X4 A/T. Sa handling(and looks) lang lamang ang RAV4 imo.

why not fortuner 4x2 gas? Same price na ata sya with the CRV. Tutal gas din yun CRV and rav4

Fortuner is the thinking man's choice. It has more space and should do better offroad even in 4X2 trim since the suspension is more rigid than the RAV or CR-V.

If you're not considering that, get the RAV for looks, handling and fun. The CR-V is a bit more spacious and has a smoother on-road ride, and more power in 2.4 guise.

more roomy interior ang CRV. cramped sa RAV4. RAV4 for that sporty look.

sa CR-V ako. more power, thicker torque, more space, better steering, much tighter body rigidity...

kung concerned ka sa looks,inside and out, go for the rav4.
But if you have kids like me, mag CRV ka na, kasi for sure you'll need the extra space for hauling stuff. Masyadong maliit ang trunk ng rav4 pero it definitely looks better than the V.

OT: Ba't di mo isama X-Trail 4x4 250X sa choices mo? IMO, it's much better that the CR-V or The RAV4.
