my dad was set on getting a camry but then i told him to look at the accord (so i wouldnt mind driving it) but now he saw the sonata and he kinda likes it.
Is this car any good? granted its v6 and all at a cheaper price compared to the accord and camry... but is it any good?
which one would you choose? accord, sonata or camry???
Just a question to the thread starter and its bit of an OT:
Back in your first posts, you asked these questions:
1. about what car to get for 1.5M Php
2. about when will the mazda 6 2.3L come out
3. about what tsikot.com think about the the bmw 1 series with the lowest trim
4. you asked about the price of an RX8
5. you mentioned about setting your mind on the Mazda 3 2.0
6. you asked about the A4 1.6
7. the WRX
8. and now you're asking tsikot.com about accord/camry/sonata
Well....my question is: any news on your search (at least on your car - its been 4 months eh)? Also, how old are you?
dude this is for my dad... still havent gotten mine. not happy with my choices here...
not as lucky as you to have nice ass choices in the states.
im 22
i'm not really sure if the sonata's available locally (is it? whats it look like).
spending a million or two for a car can hurt a bit, so i suggest you stay with ye old reliables: jappos. korean cars are far exceeding quality expectations worldwide, but they're still not quite there yet.
the accord v6 comes with traction control, the camry does not. this for me is a major tiebreaker na.
The Sonata offers more for less. It has been vastly improved over the years. It's on its way to being a real Accord and Camry rival, but it's still a bit rough on the edges compared to the Japanese. As a consolation though, it has a way better arse than the Accord
I'd choose the Accord because of its solid feeling on the road. The steering is also weighted well. The Camry is designed more for wives and mothers. It drives very smoothly, but the steering is feather-light for sporty driving. It's ideal for Sunday cruising or driving home after a tiring day at work, but you don't get that much excitement. Toyota reliability should be there as always.
