Default SWAP: 1998 Toyota RAV4 with 1997 isuzu bighorn?

Hi, would like to ask for opinions if it would be a good deal to exchange my 1998 manual RAV4 for a converted automatic 1997 isuzu bighorn? How much would the RAV4 and a converted 1997 bighorn sell right now? Would like also some help on some comparison between the two, (e.g. fuel consumption, handling, parts, maintenance, etd,...)?
In the first place, is it advisable to buy a converted unit? What should I look/ask for in one, to ascertain it is converted properly?

Your inputs are much appreciated

how is the 4x4 capability of the Rav 4? yours is a 3 door or 5 door?

in my own opinion, lugi ka nga. i would only do that if you get cash pa talaga at kailangan mo ang cash. kung di mo kailangan, hwag na lang

magkano market price nung rav4 mo? a 1997 bighorn will cost you (incl. paayos) around 550-600k. Check carefully kung 1997 talaga yun. Most of the units here na nakita ko 1996 ang pinaka latest.

well, i checked out buyandsell and the going prioce for a 1998 rav 4 is 540,000 to 580,000

so now the question becomes if you are willing to shift from an original lefthand drive to a converted.

benta mo na lang ang rav4 mo and buy a used gen 2 local pajero. dagdg ka lang ng konti, maybe 30 to 50 thousand

yeah, if i were to choose, i'd rather have the locally manufactured vehicles than those converted ones. marami akong naririnig na reklamo tungkol sa mga converted. kaya spare yourself from the hassle na lang. hmmm, shifting to diesel ha? why not get a trooper? hehe! but pajero will do just fine, palit ka na lang mas bigger displacement afterwards para hindi ka dehado. thanks!

Unless you really love Bighorns, better stick to something local or original LHD. Owning a converted unit takes some level of commitment and patience.

If you want to upgrade to a mid-size SUV, there is always the local GEN II Pajero.
