Default BMW, Jaguar or Volvo

Which do you think is the best below 2.5M to buy in terms of reliability, appearance and maintenance: BMW 318i sport, Jaguar X-Type or the Volvo S60? Thanks!

if i have 2.5 million, i will buy another house. mas magandang investment kesa sa car....

seriously. depends yan sa type mo eh. reliability, i think all of these cars are reliable considering they belong to the luxury level already. appearance...ang gaganda rin ng appearance nyan, wala kang sukat itapon. maintenance, i think jaguars are the most expensive to maintain.
volvos are also voted and tested to be the safest cars in the world, so para kang nakasakay sa armored car nyan.

personally, if i were to choose i would choose the following in order:

a) BMW = because i love german cars. I like the way the front grill was designed.

b) Volvo = don't have any explanation for this. But i like the way the side impact beams are constructed.

c) Jaguars = are hot, so this is the least of my choices. Mainit sa mata. I would rather go for an SUV or a 4x4 than get this.

From the top of mind... i'd get a BMW 318M (i've always been a sucker for BMWs). However i noticed that the prices of the BMW kinda drops drastically from brand new to a second hand unit. Maybe you could scout around for a slightly used 2001 or 2002 model at less the price. I saw a slightly used 2002 318iA and 318M Sport being sold in Prestige Libis for 2M and less.

If you want to be more discreet or low profile, the Volvo is a good choice.

If i had 2M to blow on a car, i'd probably get an SUV though and still have change for a sedan.

not voting for anyone, but this is how i might describe each car:

bmw - driving dynamics (get a manual to maximize fun)
jaguar - character
volvo - safety

hehe ako gusto ko Jaguar!! if i onli had the money!! hehe... you would see me in a jag!! hehe.... i personally think its sulit... all wheel drive... leather... 210hp... heheh... and the emblem!!! yun yung isa pinaka exiting emblems for me... sumunod sa raging bull... hehe...

but pag gusto mo low profile... don't pick the jaguar... hehe... coz... it really stands out among other cars... hehe kahit ka flatform nya lang ang mondeo... its still a jaguar...

btw... ndi ako sure na may leather seats and 210hp ha!! thats what i remember... magkano ba isa nyan?? yung base model? and sport model?) hehe...
just wana know... i heard kasi 2.1m base model eh... hehe thats pretty good kung totoo... yun lang nga kahit 1m lang isa nyan ala parin me money kaya dream on nalang muna ako hehe

my initial reaction was ... Go for the BMW and get it in black!

but the jaguar is also gnarling at me.

how much is the T5? i'm sure there's rarely one of those. downside is that it still looks like a plain S60.

so make mine a Jaguar.

Default yan!

hmm bmw too common..volvo..yung interior isnt durable the plastics madaling masugat...jaguar..iba dating..kung meron ka nyan at kapag nagsawa ka na ang problema mo e kung naibenta mo na..di ka na makakababa sa lets say..camry?..parang "oh no..baka akala nila nalugi ako sa casino kaya nabenta ko jaguar ko"..ehehe..no word on service and reliabilty...kasi its also no guarantee like the range rover na mga 99-01 models madaling masira..ewan lang natin...

if i were you get the jaguar..if you can get one...(wala atang available e)...how i wish i can have your problem....sigh...
