Smile Gen 1 Pajero vs. Hyundai Galloper II

Which is a better SUV/off-roader/reliability? Plano kasing bumili ng friend ko. Mukha kasing magkamukha sila.

Thanks.

Yup, they are the same. Yung Galloper I ay exact rebadge ng GEN I. Yung Galloper II naman ay cosmetic changes lang. Underneath it is the same as the GEN I Pajero.

Pero ang Galloper available din with the 3.0V6 (6g72) as well as higher levels of equipment than the local GEN I.

Considering the age of the GEN I, I think the Galloper would be a better choice. Same engine siya as the Starex kung diesel. Some have turbos, others are turbo with intercooler. Madaming variant ang Galloper. Halos full line up ng GEN I Pajero meron sila. SWB, LWB, meron pang Innovation series (parang Pajero EVO pero body kit lang).

but one thing that differs are the plastics insie the car. mas madaling masira ang mga plastics ng galloper. also there are some models na coil spring ang rear others leaf sprung.

GEN I iyan. Tignan mo ang 'hard-points' hindi nila pinalitan. Yung doors, glass, wheelbase, lahat. Puro cosmetic lang ang naiba. They even used GEN II side mirrors (with different legs).

madaling masira ang plastic handles niya (doors, etc). Gen1 pa rin ako na mitsubishi. mukhang RAV4 yun gen II na galloper.
