We replaced our GEN I Pajero with an LC70 series.

Laganap ang parts ng Land Cruiser (of any model or vintage). Madaming Land Cruiser-only stores like Kanzen and WAS sa Banawe.

Performance of our 22R (2.4L I-4 gas) powered LC70 series is significantly better than our N/A 4d56 GEN I. But the LC70 cannot run with my GEN II in the higher speed ranges. I think the 3.0 diesel efi LC70's should provide more power than the 22R.

Ride quality of the LC70 is better than the GEN I or my GEN II. I don't know if this can be attributed to the OME shocks on the LC70.

Interiorwise, you be the judge. The dashboard is made of metal and there are lots of exposed metal in our LC70. But I like it in a rugged sort of way.

Here is our LC70 series (sorry if it is a bit bent): [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Sir frt,

I think they did not need it because the wife of the owner was already terminally ill at the time. Bumili ata sila ng Opel (Vectra?) which was more comfortable.

I think they were imported by Auto Trend (not sure lang kung AT nga) as brand-new units back in 1994 .

ARB,

Give me a name. hehehehe.

LC70 prado, mine is a 2LTE engine and its seems to outrun my buddy's Gen1 Pajero turbo intercooler.

Whats nice thing about LC is that the aftermarket parts are abundant.
