actually the order basis comes in batches. it is not that when someone place the reservation the order in korea would also follow. you can ask your S/A on the date which batch your order will be included. all dealers depends on HARI, so no dealer can utterly claim that they can outdo the other dealer in terms of delivery assuming there's no stock available in the philippines.

Saw a couple of ads at Sulit.com about the Genesis Coupe. And it Hyundai has gone through tremendous efforts to have a commercial about the Genesis Coupe for the Super Bowl.

And it's now being used by Rhys Millen as his official drift competition car!

Now based on it's value, do you think it's worth getting the Genesis Coupe or not?

I think the Genesis Coupe's appeal is mainly its price. I mean there are many better performance cars but nothing comes close to the Coupe in terms of value.

If you are under a tight budget, I recommend you consider the base Coupe at 1.398M. And if you like to have a luxurious and high performance stock car, the top of the line V6 variant at 1.85M is a steal.

Actually, there are other Genesis Coupes at SEMA. It's a good thing that the other vendors are noticing the tuning potential of the Genesis Coupe.

I'm pretty sure there in the Philippines it's just a matter of time before modified Gen Coupes are out on the streets. If the tuning shops there could afford modifying more expensive sports cars, why not the Gen Coupe

also thats why they give a margin of 3 months for delivery. usually they have a cut off date in accepting orders after that they place the orders in korea so it will come in a batch. most probably shipping takes a month. so its safe for the SA to tell us it'll come in 2-3 months.

That is the optional track package. So you'll need to pay extra for the Brembo brakes.

Inquired that already at Hyundai Q Ave. You can't get the brembos separately. You'll need to buy the car with it and it's only available for the top-of-the-line 3.8 V6 automatic

So the unit 1.858M + an additional 150k for the brembo brake kit.

But if you really want it, let's say for your 3.8 V6 M/T or for the 2.0T.. the dealer will have to quote you 300K+ for the kit. Not included pa the installation.

Hehe Maybe they just want to earn more $$$ with the V6 A/T. Actually the V6 units with brembos are from Dubai daw. Different from all the other units coming from Korea without the BBK.

Kaya pala when i took a closer look at the V6 brembo display unit in q ave.. it has arabic characters on the side mirrors - I guess thats the arabic transalation of objects in mirror are closer than they appear.

I see. I kinda heard rumors about Hyundai dealers importing the Genesis Coupes by themselves.

No wonder I saw a base model that came with a spoiler many months ago. White ata sya.
