The MS is a good alternative for you gelhascue! Since your budget tells you to get an Innova and your hearts likes Fortuner the MS is in the middle. Its not as expensive as the Fort (Diesel pa, yung Fort guzzling gas engine) and has the looks of a Fort more or less... My 2 cents...

^^ MS is a good choice gelah, cheaper yet has the features of the fortuner, if not all, almost all.

^^ The montero GLS is 1.360 million. However the santa fe is around 1.4m. Baka hindi na kayanin ni gelah. Tama na montero kung SUV hanap nya.

I just want to share this, kakagaling ko lang sa Toyota Bicutan Paranaque kanina and they gave me a nice package para sa target Fort ko (2.7 VVTi lang kukunin ko. hehehe) for a downpayment of 488K (total cashout) i will only pay 23k for my monthly (5 yrs) not bad right? They advised me kasi na huwag kumuha sa mga dealer na free ang insurance dami nila naging case kasi na certification lang pala yun. tsk. kawawa owner kapag nacarnapp ang Fort niya.. kaya TS sa Toyota Bicutan ka na lang dahil direct sa planta yun hindi sila franchise na Toyota..

But If you compare the price of the lowest AT variant of both Fortuner and Montero Sport - the Fortuner will still be pricier by 50k and you do not get the rear parking sensors.

Mitsu 2.5 4D56 still trumps Toyota 2.5 D4D in power and reliability. The bad part is that Toyota diesel variant is more expensive than the mitsu's, both in AT.

I admit though that the Fortuner has better fit and finish inside, in materials used (leather seats and Audio HU is incorporated with the dash console). While the Montero Sport still has the primitive 1-din 3rd-party HU, which for me is advantage since it easily welcomes future audio modification setups.
