Naku Sir sorry to hear about your SF....

The best way siguro is to file a formal complaint to the dealer and copy furnish it to HARI.

1) Latest MD 64xx unit

2) Wag tanggalin yung plastic sa loob. When we got to the showroom for release saka ko lang pinatanggal at sa harap ko pa ginagawa habang tinatanggal nung tauhan nila.

3) Check the body & paint kung may defect or swirl marks

Tumutunog kahit naka D.

6) Ayaw ko nga sana pa-release e kasi umuugong yung brake at creaky yung suspension. Maswerte sila at nawala na ngayon.

7) Asked for the 5-digit code ng susi pero they continually deny na walang ganung 5-digit code.

Kaya nga Sir Tidus yan ang reason bakit "praning" ako with this vehicle. But Lo and Behold parehong palpak sa initial quality ang dealer at manufacturer!

By the way my Santa Fe celebrated 1 year 2 weeks ago. Clocked in 7240km for the first year. Matibay pa rin ang aming samahan, still my favorite car among our cars maskin Civic 1.8 FD tinatalo sa fuel efficiency...

why don't you call the attention of HARI? they will help you a lot since some of your concern is valid. better yet, why don't you dispose your sf and buy a fortuner or montero instead as i have analyzed your post marami ka naman pera...

wag naman, sayang din yong gastos pa-repair. have the dealer fix the problem and if still not happy then dispose.

Traffic abuse, stop and go abuse. Try doing QC-Makati and you will see what I mean!

I doubt they will change the whole unit, change the seats is the likely action...

Hi mga mam at sir!

Its our 3rd week of ownership and already logged 1040++ km..

1) Seat Problem - Already being investigated. Will await for the answer this week. Isasabay ko sa 1k checkup nung vehicle.

2) Mud guards - Installed Mobis mudguards c/o Maspro.

4) Tire puncture - Had the rear passenger tire vulcanized sa Servitek. Grabe yung bumaon na bakal... half circle piece of metal... Pangit kasi yung daan papuntang cemetery last Nov. 2, mabuti na lang may 15 psi pa yung gulong papuntang Servitek.

I wouldn't trade our Sta. Fe over those Thailand-designed Japs... Ride Comfort, German CRDi VGT power, VERY QUIET INTERIOR, near luxury interior appointments... walang panama yang mga pick-up based trucks na yan sa Cross-over vehicle natin.

In fact, we are going Korean already - kung di lang nagkaroon ng problema yung Rexton II na dapat bibilhin namin. Di bale, we are eyeing an 08 Sorento CRDi 4x4 non-VGT. Research lang ako.

With regards to the seats, our 99 field master had creaky seats paglabas ng casa and makalampag na door and Manual Transmission problem. Our 02 Suzuki Jimny had brake noise problems similar to the Sta. Fe paglabas ng casa. Kumbaga yung mga problems namin dito sa Hyundai are not that extraordinary. I just document those problems to prove that Hyundai has the remaining 10-15 percent dissatisfied with their initial quality.

But 3 things made me smile today that always re-assure me we bought the perfect vehicle:

1) Super Comfy Cruising Speed 100kph along NLEX going to Pampanga
2) Fortuners & Monteros trying to race us but we just ignored them and
3) Three 16-year-old teenage girls giggling, excited an SR Sta. Fe parked beside their Kia Carnival EX SWB.

I can say that our family is still proud owners of an 09 SR Sta. Fe
