Ako i used neither mobil nor motul sa 1k pms ko. I used royal purple, and ok naman ang takbo nya. highly recommended din sa pms thread natin.

Engr Denz, welcome to the Strada thread. The Strada and Montero Sport are equipped with Turbo Diesel Intercooler engines with Common Rail Injection in 2.5 and 3.2 form. I hope that helps po. thanks
i have this brochure, di ba dark gray sya? ito yung kulay na pinagpapantasyahan ko before ako bumagsak sa black.

hi sir!

Personally I use motul for my strada.....and Im very satisfied with it....

I have no experience with regards to mobil1 but I think both can perform outstandingly at a same degree for the reason that they have the same oil grade which is 5w40 and also indicates that both is CRDi specific engine oil unlike the casa's turbo XP which is only 10w40....

however, mobil1 is a little bit more expensive than motul I think its around 600/Ltr....for motul its around 550/Ltr if i got my math right....

BTW I saw a Mobil1 0w40 oil somewhere in the net....hehehe....grabe naman yun sobra! hehe ang linaw linaw na nga nung 5w panu pa kaya yung 0w hehe para na sigurong tubig yun sa linaw hehehe...parang pang race grade na yata yun that is used in formula 1... I wonder if madadadigest pa kaya yun ng mga engines natin hehe....

Mga sirs tanong ko lang, ma void ba yung warranty if I use other oils like mobil for the 1,000km pms? Kasi parang yun ang sinabi sakin ng service advisor na mas mabuti gamitin yung mitsubishi oil para hindi magka problema when it comes to warranty. Just making sure lang guys baka loko2x lang tong adviser na to ..hehe

sir, diamond motors allow TSCP members to use motul/mobil/royal purple brands as long as the rating is better than the casa's Turbo XP WITHOUT voiding our warranty. marketing ploy nila yun to force you in using the mitsu oil or wala lang alam yung SA mo... some dealers may go to the extreme measure to charge a 'corkage' fee if you bring your own oil to discourage you... kalokohan yan!

awarded by ABS-CBN Foundation, Inc. to The Strada Club of the Philippines for the latter's unselfish efforts to provide assistance in times of great need of the Filipino people.

if not for the reliable strada, the BOSBs could not have achieved the phenomenal growth of TSCP not only in terms of the membership, but also in terms of service to those who need it most

Correction lang sir, Turbo XP is 15w50. Ok lahat ng fully synthetic na yan: motul, mobil1, RP, etc. Basta stick to one according kay Papa Arvin. Pinakamahal ang Mobil.

Ah ok, sir... Actually the 2010 Strada brochures are now in circulation- separate for the 4x2 (GL and GLX) and the 4x4 (GLS and GLS Sport). I would like to encourage you to go to your nearest dealer to ask for one. The website of MMPC is not yet updated though...

as for the dealer, it depends on your location... may i know where are you based po? if you happen to be in Manila, you might want to try Jessa - 09178069439... HTH...
